Morgan Manfreda

timberline

Morgan started her riding career at the age of 10 taking jumping lessons at Killhaven farm under the expert direction of Peter Anderson. After a few years of jumping and cross country, it was decided that it was time to purchase her first horse.

An appendix qh was the choice, and probably the best choice i could’ve made. Morgan barrel raced and competed in many gaming competitions. Topped the charts with the Barrel Racers of WNY in both pole bending and barrels.

High school rolled around and Morgan decided to attend New York Military Academy that was known for their phenomenal equestrian program. Under the expert direction of Pam and Chief Halsey. Through them Morgan gained the true meaning of horsemanship, poise, patience and of course the drive to succeed in any endeavor I put my mind to.

From there, Morgan then went to ride for Shelly Grey at Ivy Rock stables in New Winsdor, NY. A farm that emphasizes classical dressage as the foundation of all successful riding and in the growth of knowledgeable youth in the future equine industry.

Upon relocation to the Buffalo area, Morgan got the opportunity to show Morgans at Running Well Farm with Suzanne Fox and Pat Walter. This is when Morgan was officially hooked. Between the knowledge of these two women, They gave her the confidence and most importantly… The opportunity to succeed.
Some of Morgans most memorable mounts included Hornes Leader Glow, talented park horse and an even better teacher. Raintree Morning Glory(shown jr ex ep) Stealing Kisses(jr ex classic), Acapellas Suite Music (jumper) Man Who Would be King (jr park saddle), Acapellas Win Your Heart ( jr ex hunt, versatility and road hack), NSM Armageddon, Hollybrook Braveheart and Equinox Fear This
